Service Projects

Consistent with the philosophy of Shorinji Kempo, Yorkville Branch is committed to performing community service on a regular basis. Various projects have been undertaken independently, and in conjunction with other groups, since 2003.

Local Tree Planting

As part of the Trees Across Toronto initiative, which hopes double the size of Toronto’s tree canopy, Yorkville Branch helped plant trees in Earl Bales Park in April 2010.
